Port Angeles kids saving coins for playground
Starting April 15th, 2002, the Fundraising Committee for the Port Angeles Community Dream Playground, in partnership with the Kiwanis Club of Port Angeles, is sponsoring a "Koins For Kids" Campaign. "Port Angeles elementary students are competing to see which school can bring in the most spare change," says Michelle Ahrens, member of the Fundraising Committee. "The winners will be treated with an ice cream feed for the school," after a judging event on May 4th.
