Community Built ... Building Community
Whatever your dream of a playground might be, sometimes dreams really do come true! Our Port Angeles, Washington kids dreamed up something special, and our community pulled together to make that dream a reality. The Kiwanis Club of Port Angeles, Washington, along with many community service organizations, businesses, schools, churches and lots of other people, came together to sponsor this truly awesome “Dream Playground” that was built at Erickson Park on September 11, 2002.
The playground has been designed by and for our kids, and it took the whole community to build it. Like an Amish barn raising, we had the opportunity to work together with our friends and neighbors to build this fun playground for our children.
