Tiles and Pickets Go On Sale to Benefit 'Dream Playground'

Nancy Prince-Fox, Co-Chair of the Port Angeles "Dream Playground" Fundraising Committee, announced the sale of Dream Playground "tiles" and "pickets." "Profits from the sale of these items, as well as t-shirts and sweatshirts soon to go on sale, will go toward funding of the Playground," she says.
The 'tiles' sell for $30 each for one, or $25 each for two or more and can be personally decorated and signed. "They will then be glazed and fired and will eventually be mounted on welcoming kiosks at the entrance to the Dream Playground," Prince-Fox says. "They are the perfect size for a child's handprint and name of a youngster, and will make a wonderful commemorative item, as well as a permanent reminder of one's donation toward building the playground."
The pickets, which sell for $20.00, also go on sale this weekend. The pickets - which will eventually be used to build a fence around the Dream Playground - will be inscribed with the name of the donor, or anyone they designate.
"Sample pickets and tiles will be for sale at our booth at the Juan de Fuca Festival this weekend," Price-Fox adds. "Following the Festival, we will be selling both items, along with t-shirts and sweatshirts with the 'Dream Playground' logo, at almost every event taking place this summer, including the weekly Concerts on the Pier each Wednesday and the 4th of July celebration on the Pier."
